Storey County Fire crews stopped forward progress of a wildland fire burning in the area of Basalite Mine near Pine Nut Road.
According to a post on the Storey County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the fire started around 7:30 Saturday night and forward progress was stopped about an hour later.
