Jacobs Entertainment has announced plans to renovate the Gold 'N Silver Inn on 4th Street in Reno.
According to a release from today, Jacobs says that it looks to preserve the Gold 'N Silver's unmistakable vintage charm while refreshing its interiors and enhancing the overall experience.
Food-wise, plans are to hold on to some of the classic breakfast and lunch items that have made the restaurant a local staple, but Jacobs plans to add new menu items meant to appeal to a variety of people in the area.
The restaurant will be temporarily closing its doors starting at the end of the day on June 1. The current plan is to re-open before the end of the year.
"We know this place means a lot to the Reno community. We’re excited to bring something fresh to this space, while retaining the core of Gold n Silver’s history and nostalgia," said Erik Fong, partner and principal architect at OneStudio D+A - who will be handling the renovation.
"Our approach is to embrace the classic elements from past eras and integrate them with iconic elements unique to Reno."
