A portion of the Sutro Street Bridge is closed after an early morning homeless encampment fire injured one person.
The fire started just before 7 a.m. near Commercial Row, putting up a lot of black smoke that could be seen across much of the valley.
The Sutro bridge is temporarily closed from Kuenzli to Commercial while crews clear the site.
