The Nevada Department of Transportation will reduce sections of Interstate 580 to one lane south of Reno from October 27th through the 30th for routine winter maintenance.
Crews will clean and refresh automatic anti-icing systems on four I-580 bridges between Mt. Rose Highway and the Bowers Mansion area.
The work will take place daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Mt. Rose Highway and the old U.S. 395A exit 16. Crews will close lanes in one direction at a time, and speed limits will be reduced to 55 mph through the work zone.
The work schedule is subject to change.
