A crash involving critical injuries has closed an intersection in southwest Reno this afternoon.
The intersection of Lakeside Drive and Lone Tree Lane in Reno is closed due to the crash, which was between a vehicle and a bicyclist.
The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is asking drivers to please avoid the area and plan an alternate route, for the safety of those involved and first responders.
The major accident team is on scene and in the process of an investigation.
