An investigation is underway after a Waste Management truck carrying pine needles caught fire in south Reno late Tuesday morning.
The incident happened just before 11 a.m. near Galena Creek.
Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue crews say although the truck was carrying a large amount of smoldering pine needles, the cause remains under investigation.
TMFR says no injuries were reported and that no significant threats were identified.
