A juvenile motorbike rider was hospitalized for injuries and cited after allegedly leaving the scene of a crash with a car in Incline Village last Wednesday.
On September 17, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the intersection of Village Parkway and Alder Avenue in Incline Village on reports of a crash, according to a release from the Washoe County Sheriff's Office.
When they arrived, they found a gray Subaru with damage to the passenger side door.
The driver of the Subaru, a juvenile, said the person who hit them was also a juvenile and was riding on a blacked-out motorbike.
That juvenile left the scene of the crash before deputies arrived.
Deputies later found the juvenile and met with him at his home, where they saw he had a large cut on the right side of his face.
He was taken to the Incline Village Community Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
The juvenile on the motorbike was determined to be at fault for the crash.
He was cited for drive without a valid driver's license, operating vehicle without registration, and proof of insurance required.
