Lanes will be reduced on U.S. 395 in north Reno from October 6 through the 12.
The Nevada Department of Transportation will continue work on a project to resurface multiple bridges across the Truckee Meadows.
Drivers will see the following lane reductions on both directions of U.S. 395 from the Reno spaghetti bowl to North McCarran Boulevard beginning starting on October 6.
DAYTIME 6 a.m.- 8 p.m. - U.S. 395 reduced to two lanes in each direction
NIGHTTIME 8 p.m. - 6 a.m.- U.S. 395 reduced to one lane in each direction
Travel will still be available on U.S. 395, but drivers are advised to use alternate routes when possible.
With a continuing, neighboring project to widen sections of U.S. 395 to the north of this area, commuters should allow extra travel time if traveling this section of highway.
The road work schedule is subject to change.
Crews are performing barrier rail work as part of resurfacing U.S. 395 bridges over Wedekind Road. The bridge improvements are part of a continuing project, launched in May, to resurface nearly one dozen highway bridges across the metro Reno area.
