Free Summer Meals LCSD 2025

The Lyon County School District Nutrition Services is once again providing free summer meals and meal kits to support students and families throughout the summer months.

Beginning June 17 through August 12, families may pick up weekly grocery meal kits every Wednesday at designated school sites across Lyon County.

The program is available to all students. It is designed to help ensure students continue to have access to nutritious meals while school is out of session.

Each meal kit contains breakfast and lunch items intended to provide a full week of meals for eligible children.

Kids or their parents/guardians may pick up meals in a drive-thru from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the following locations:

* Fernley Intermediate School

* East Valley Elementary School

* Silver Stage Elementary School

* Dayton Intermediate School

* Yerington Elementary School

Parents or guardians may pick up meal kits on behalf of their child by providing the student’s name and student ID number at the time of pick-up.

Note - students currently receiving free breakfast and lunch through Summer School programs are not eligible to receive meal kits until the conclusion of Summer School.
