A man is dead after a truck rollover crash on I-80 west, east of Fernley late Monday night. 

Specifically the crash happened near mile marker 53 just before 10 p.m. 

Nevada Highway Patrol says the driver was heading west in a Toyota Tacoma when it went off the road.

Troopers say the driver then overcorrected by steering back to the left across all the westbound lanes of traffic and hit the median.

The driver died on scene. His name hasn't been released yet.

According to NHP, the driver wasn't wearing a seatbelt.Â
