A well-known Midtown spot has gone quiet, as one local company pivots toward what it says is a growing side of its business.
According to Parlay 6 Brewing Company in an online post, the company has made the decision to close restaurant operations at its Midtown Reno location as it refocuses on the continued growth of its brewing and production efforts.
Like many in the hospitality and beverage industry, the company said evolving operational challenges have made it increasingly difficult to sustain restaurant service. At the same time, it said its production and distribution side has experienced strong momentum and continued growth, allowing the company to invest fully in that area and build for the future.
“The hospitality and beverage industry is facing real headwinds right now. We’ve made the strategic decision to consolidate our resources and focus on our partnership with Battle Born Beer and Lead Dog Brewing Company, where we’re aligned with our partners on a clear path forward and a shared vision for what we’re building in Northern Nevada.”
As of today, May 1, the Midtown location has officially closed.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the guests, team members, and fellow operators who made that location what it was. That support means everything to us.”
The company said it will continue brewing and expanding its presence through distribution and partnerships across the region. Customers can expect to see more from the brand as it grows within Northern Nevada and beyond.
“This move allows us to focus our energy on what’s ahead, and we’re excited about what’s next. We’ll be sharing more soon.
