Starting Thursday, October 3rd one-way traffic will be coming to sections of Lakeside Drive and Holcomb and Huffaker Lanes in south Reno.

The lane reductions are being implemented so the Nevada Department of Transportation can repave the affected roads, according to a release from NDOT.

One-way traffic will be in place between 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. weekdays Oct. 3- Oct. 31 for paving on sections of the following routes:

Holcomb Lane/Holcomb Ranch Lane from South Virginia Street to Lakeside Drive

Lakeside Drive between Holcomb Ranch Lane and West Huffaker Lane

West Huffaker Lane from Lakeside Drive to Del Monte Lane

Drivers will only be able to travel in the designated direction of travel opposite to the lane being paved.

Local street and residential access will remain available, but access to the road being paved may be briefly interrupted as work is conducted in front of individual driveways and cross streets.

Through late fall, additional single-lane closures and periodic road closures will take place on Holcomb Ranch Lane, Lakeside Drive between Holcomb Ranch and West Huffaker lanes, and West Huffaker Lane from South Virginia Street to Lakeside Drive.
