NDOT will be implementing overnight closures on a portion of Lemmon Drive as part of a North Valleys Highway Improvement project.

The closures will take place on Lemmon Drive underneath U.S. 395 during the week of August 24th. 

Lemmon Drive will be closed to through traffic underneath U.S. 395 between Sky Vista Parkway/Buck Drive and North Virginia Street as crews install falsework for upcoming bridge widening.

The closures will take place nightly between 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.

The work is part of a project to widen U.S. 395 to three lanes in each direction.

Drivers will also see the following continuing overnight lane reductions and ramp closures on U.S. 395 between north McCarran Boulevard and Stead Boulevard:

  • Periodic lane shifts throughout construction.
  • Overnight highway lane reductions, with U.S. 395 reduced to one lane in each direction 8 p.m. - 5 a.m.
  • Intermittent ramp closures 8 p.m. - 5 a.m. Detour routes will be marked.
  • Speeds reduced to 55mph 24/7 through the work zone.
  • Lanes periodically reduced on Lemmon Drive and Golden Valley Road underneath U.S. 395
  • Construction schedule is subject to change.
