Three bears are expected to be released back into the wild after making their way to Rancho San Rafael Regional Park.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife said they started getting calls about bear sightings in the area around 3 p.m. on Monday.

They arrived on the scene to find a mother and two cubs.

The bears were not being aggressive or causing any issues, but game wardens decided it was best to dart them due to how many people were in the area.

Dragon Lights is being held at the park right now, but NDOW says the animals did not interrupt the festival.

All three bears will stay together when released.
