The Nevada DMV recapped this year’s sales on specialty license plates.

The top five license plates sold in 2024 were:

* Vegas Golden Knights

* Las Vegas commemorative

* Las Vegas Raiders

* United We Stand

* Lake Tahoe

The DMV says Nevadans love that they have so many choices.

"It just allows you to kind of express yourself and be creative with your car and say that 'I own this' and at the same time you're helping a charitable organization as well," says Paolo David, DMV PIO.

Organizers say in 2024 the DMV collected over $8 million in revenue for these specialty plates - and over $2 million will be donated to charitable organizations.

Each year, the Nevada DMV collects $1.6 billion in revenue and processes about 10 million transactions.
