To honor Women in Construction Week, the Nevada State Contractors Board is once again holding the annual Hammers & Hope event.
The event is aimed at bringing together the construction industry and its career opportunities with young women in high school and college - with a particular focus on women in need.
The event takes place from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, March 4 at the Truckee Meadows Community College Applied Technology Center, at 475 Edison Way in Reno.
The event is free to attend, but you can RSVP by emailing hannah@theferrarogroup.com.
Hammers & Hope will feature panel discussions, breakout sessions with mentors and a career fair.
