A former U.S. Department of the Army employee from Sparks pleaded guilty to using a government credit card to make nearly $2,800 in personal purchases for his vehicle.
According to court documents, Tamilo Pale Fe’a, also known as “T,” used an Army fuel fleet credit card for about 69 transactions at gas stations in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and California.
The purchases were made for his personal benefit, according to court documents.
Fe’a pleaded guilty to one count of access device fraud. He also agreed to pay more than $80,000 in restitution to the government for military equipment that an indictment alleged he stole.
Fe’a is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 4, 2027. He faces a maximum statutory penalty of 15 years in prison.
The final sentence will be determined after consideration of the federal sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors.
