Your comments, opinions and general feedback are wanted for the development of the Draft Sand Harbor State Park Master Plan.
The public comment period is open now through April 14.
The draft plan presents a potential new layout for Sand Harbor, based on ideas gathered from the public during last year's comment period.
A master plan serves as a guiding document for future development at the park, including any improvements and enhancements.
Officials are encouraging area residents to review and comment on the Draft Master Plan - you can find an interactive presentation on the Nevada State Parks website.
Otherwise, if you are unable to comment using the presentation, the public may submit comments via email to planning@parks.nv.gov, or sent in writing to:
