NV Energy de-energization

NV Energy says they are working alongside fire officials to evaluate re-energizing power for customers affected by emergency power shut offs associated with the Bug and Stallion fires.

The utility has restored service to approximately 240 customers in the Nixon area whose power source is no longer directly threatened by the Stallion Fire.

At this time, power remains de-energized in portions of Red Rock, Antelope Valley and Palomino Valley. Emergency de-energizations are currently impacting approximately 1,198 customers.

There is currently no estimated restoration time for customers who remain impacted.

NV Energy says these remain active and unpredictable wildfire events, and power cannot be restored until conditions improve and it is safe for crews to access and inspect the affected infrastructure.
