One person has been hospitalized with moderate injuries after a crash between an SUV and a semi in Fernley on Thursday evening.
It happened just after 6 p.m. near the I-80 west - Main Street interchange in Fernley, according to a post from North Lyon Fire on Facebook.
The driver of the SUV, a Kia Sorento, was taken to the hospital via medical helicopter.
Impairment is not suspected as a factor in the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Roads in the area were closed following the crash but have since reopened.
