The Washoe County coroner has identified the pedestrian who died after being hit by a car near Moana and Kietzke Lanes last Thursday night.
The coroner says 61-year-old David E. Vigil died shortly after being transported to Renown Regional Medical Center.
Reno Police say the driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
They say speed and impairment do not appear to be involved.
The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation.
