Update (1/4/25, 10:00 a.m.):

Reno Police say the pedestrian involved was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Reno Police Department, Reno Fire Department, and REMSA got to the crash on East 4th Street and 6th Street around 10:19 p.m. Friday night.

The other car had left the scene but was found not far from the crash scene. Police say the driver has been cooperating with the investigation.

They do not believe alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.

East 4th Street was closed between Montello Street and 6th Street until 12:45 a.m. on January 4th.

The Reno Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating.

It happened in the area of 4th Street and Sage Street.
