10:25 P.M. UPDATE:
NV Energy is reporting that a series of power outages affecting more than 5,000 people across Washoe County has largely been resolved.
As of 10:25 p.m., there are still nine outages being reported affecting more than 260 customers.
The most affected ZIP code for outages is 89506. Other affected zip codes include 89521, 89503, and 89431.
There is no estimated time for power to be restored in these ZIP codes, and the cause of the outages is under investigation.

NV Energy is reporting multiple power outages in Washoe County collectively affecting more than 5,000 customers.
According to the outage list on the NV Energy website. 3,600 customers in the 89509 ZIP code are affected.
Nearly 1,100 are without power in the 89503 ZIP code.
Other ZIP codes with multiple people affected include 89523, 89521, 89502, and 89501.
The cause for most of the outages is under investigation, and there is no estimated time for power to be restored.
