Ever dreamed of being part of the action at one of the West’s biggest outdoor rodeos?
The Reno Rodeo is calling on people to join as Wranglers for its 2026 event, a chance to be behind the scenes and help make the rodeo run smoothly.
The rodeo, founded in 1919, operates with the help of nearly 1,000 volunteers across more than 50 committees each year.
Wranglers contribute to many parts of the operation, including behind-the-scenes logistics and hospitality for fans, which organizers say helps maintain the experience that draws large crowds annually.
“Wranglers are the heart and soul of the Reno Rodeo,” said Mark Sutton, 2026 Reno Rodeo President. “Their dedication and enthusiasm are what bring this incredible event to life every year.”
People interested in volunteering can fill out a Wrangler Application and turn it in to the Reno Rodeo office with a copy of their ID and a one-time $25 application fee.
Wranglers must volunteer at least 32 hours per year for two straight years to be considered for membership with the Reno Rodeo Association.
More information and the application can be found on the Reno Rodeo’s website.
