The Reno-Stead Airport has reopened to all aircraft after being limited to firefighting and military aircraft due to wildfires.
Firefighting aircraft operations continue at elevated levels from the airport, according to a post from the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority on Facebook.
Operations at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport remain unaffected by the fires.
"The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority is proud to continue supporting these critical efforts," the post said in part. "We extend our deepest gratitude to the first responders working tirelessly to protect our Washoe County communities."
