The Salvation Army assisted the American Red Cross in feeding evacuees from the Bug and Stallion fires.
Wednesday morning, they served hot breakfast sandwiches, cereal, fruit and milk at the Evelyn Mount Community Center and the Pyramid Lake Tribal Health Clinic, which serves the communities of Wadsworth, Nixon and Sutcliffe.
They say they were able to provide 330 meals to evacuees and 350 comfort kits containing essential hygiene supplies to the Red Cross for distribution.
