Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto has introduced a piece of legislation on Capitol Hill to help small business owners.
It is called the Small Business Information Act and is intended to streamline communication between the government and small business owners.
The act clarifies that surveys from the Office for Small Business Capital Formation don't count as information collection.
That means the government won't have to get outside approval before those surveys are issued.
