The Sparks City Council has approved the final plan for the expansion of Andelin Ranch, home of the Andelin Family Farm along Pyramid Way.
With this approval, the farm will be able to preserve the historical ranching operations while continuing to grow its yearly events.
Councilmembers say the plan has been in the works for a long time.
Passing the measure was something new for the city, as officials say they've never had to handle agri-tourism before.
