A report of vehicles ramming into each other and a person armed with a gun brought Sparks police to an intersection Tuesday, where officers found several people arguing in the roadway and later recovered a stolen gun.
According to the Sparks Police Department in an online post, officers responded to the area of H Street and 12th Street at about 12:28 p.m. Oct. 20 after receiving reports of the incident.
When officers arrived, they found several people yelling at each other in the roadway. Everyone involved was detained while officers investigated what had happened.
During the investigation, officers located a gun that had been reported stolen.
A 34-year-old Reno resident was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property - a gun, according to the department.
The department did not provide additional details about the reported vehicle crash or whether anyone was injured.
