A STEM fair organized by local high school students is coming back for its second year.
The SciVenture STEM Fair will be held on March 14 at The Discovery Museum from 10 a.m to 1 p.m., according to a release from the University of Nevada, Reno's College of Science.
It will give STEM-engaged students a chance to share their projects with the community and include a keynote speech from award-winning physicist Taylor Wilson.
The fair currently has about 50% more projects signed up this year than last year and will provide cash prizes in several categories to winning projects, including a people’s choice award.Â
Interested students can register for the fair individually or in teams until the deadline on February 16.
