The Reno Police Department was called to a three-car crash just before midnight on June 20.
It was at the intersection of South McCarran Blvd. and Rock Blvd.
Investigators found that an Audi RS5 and a Porsche 911 GTS Â were both speeding southbound on McCarran and ran the red light at Rock Blvd, hitting an uninvolved Toyota pickup that was legally in the intersection.
There was significant damage to all three vehicles, and all six occupants of the victim vehicle were rushed to the hospital.
The underage driver of the Porsche, as well as the adult driver and passenger of the Audi, were also taken to the hospital.
Multiple occupants inside those cars are also being treated for injuries at the hospital.
An 84-year-old who was inside the victim vehicle is in critical condition.Â
The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is investigating.
The intersection of S. McCarran and Rock Blvd. was closed for several hours before being reopened late Sunday afternoon.
