A traffic stop in Elko County led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man after deputies learned he had been involved in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.
The Elko County Sheriff's Office says deputies stopped the vehicle September 27 on W. Silver Street after noticing it had a suspended Nevada license plate.
The driver, Aaron Kienenberger, was also found to have a suspended driver's license.
A 15-year-old girl was in the vehicle as a passenger. When her parent arrived at the scene, deputies learned the girl had been involved in a sexual relationship with Kienenberger.
Sheriff's detectives interviewed Kienenberger, who investigators say confessed to multiple sexual encounters with the girl.
Kienenberger was booked into the Elko County Jail on charges of statutory sexual seduction, contributory delinquency, driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle with suspended registration.
