A car ran a red light in downtown Reno Tuesday evening, causing another car to roll over onto a signal box and knocking out power to a traffic signal.
It happened in the area of Virginia Street and Eighth Street, just south of the university.
There were no injuries in the crash, according to a spokesperson for the Reno Police Department.
Crews are still working to address the power outage to the traffic signal, and work could take a couple of hours.
People are asked to avoid the area.
