Two people have been airlifted to the hospital, and all lanes on U.S. 50 Alternate have been closed in the area of Wedge Lane after a rollover crash in Fernley.
It happened just before 5 p.m., according to a post on Facebook from North Lyon Fire.
Crews arrived on the scene to find an SUV rolled over and blocking lanes. There were two people in the SUV, one of whom was ejected. Both people were taken to a Reno-area hospital via air ambulances.
The Nevada State Police is handling the investigation.
People are asked to avoid the area of U.S. 50 Alternate and Wedge Lane. Take alternate routes if possible.
