Two registered sex offenders have been arrested after Lyon County deputies say the men didn't comply with their verification requirements.
63-year-old Edward Russell is a Tier 3 registered sex offender and is required under state law to complete his verification by a specific date. He failed to do so.
55-year-old Michael Corral of Fernley was arrested for a similar reason. He is a Tier 2 offender and failed to complete his required verification.
In a press release, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said they have zero tolerance for registered sex offenders who fail to comply with their statutory registration requirements and they will continue to take enforcement action when violations are identified.
