The U.S. Marshals Service Nevada Violent Offender Task Force arrested 147 fugitives between January 1 and March 31 of this year.

Some of the more notable arrests included people in or from northern Nevada, according to a release from the Marshals Service.

Jay Claughton was arrested in Sparks on January 2. He was wanted by Sparks Police for vehicular homicide and DUI.

Jesus Ali Lara-Lara was arrested in Incline Village on January 22. He was wanted in Mexico for weapons trafficking.

Devon McMillin was arrested in Sparks on January 30. He was wanted by the Nye County Sheriff’s Department for sexual assault of a child under 14.

Nathan Lee Potier was arrested in Sparks on March 17. He was wanted by the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office for sexual abuse of a child.

Erica Palmer was arrested in Sparks on March 17. She was wanted by the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office for enabling sex abuse of a child and child abandonment.

Edward Christopher Chavez was arrested in Reno on March 18. He was wanted by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for use or permit minor less than 14, to produce child sex abuse material, prepare material depicting child sexual abuse material, and lewdness by person MT 18 in presence of child under 18.
