The Washoe County and EmployNV job fair scheduled for Monday, August 24, has been postponed.
The event site, the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, is now serving as an evacuation site for individuals impacted by the Hawk Fire.
Organizers are notifying participating employers and will identify and communicate a reschedule date in the near future.

Washoe County is partnering with EmployNV to host a regional career fair August 24.
Nearly a hundred employers and community organizations will be on hand, offering nearly 3,000 job opportunities.
Employers will be conducting on-site interviews while EmployNV staff offers guidance-based services, help with training programs, and employment related financial support.
Those attending are advised to bring multiple copies of their resume.
It's happening August 24th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, 4590 S. Virginia Street.
