The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is reminding people to be cautious on the roads as winter storms move through the area.
Sheriff's Office deputies have already been working to help drivers throughout the region, according to a post from the WCSO on Facebook.
The Sheriff's Office advises giving yourself extra time to get where you are headed. Slow down and increase your following distance as well due to the slick conditions.
With deputies and other first responders helping throughout the storms, move over a lane if possible and slow down when driving around the scene of a crash.
