The public is invited to gather, reflect and connect as the Water Lantern Festival returns to the Sparks Marina on Saturday, August 24th.
The event kicks off at 5:00 p.m. and will include food trucks, live music, and a chance for you to design and float your very own water lantern.
Each ticket includes the supplies to create your lantern, event freebies and covers the cost of lantern clean-up after the event.
The lanterns will be launched on the marina from 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
The Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation and Nevada Health Link are partners for the event.
