A fire burning near Redmond, Oregon has grown to 458 acres.

The McCaffery Fire is located about a quarter mile east of the Redmond, Oregon airport. 

Smoke can be seen from the Cline Butte Alert Wildfire camera.

According to the Northwest Interagency Coordination Center, the fire began on July 6 and is threatening 20 homes, along with 30 other buildings.

The cause is still under investigation.

132 personnel are currently responding, including three crews, two helicopters and 10 engines.

The fire is 25% contained. 

A level two evacuation notice is in place for Sunny Sage Road off McCaffery Road, as well as the area of West Powell Butte Estates, meaning people should be set to evacuate at a moment's notice.
