Pacific Gas and Electric Company has notified 70,000 customers about possible power shutoffs beginning Wednesday night. Southern California will also experience gusty conditions as Santa Ana winds strengthen. Los Angeles officials are preparing for the weather by pre-deploying personnel and equipment.
