Shares are mixed in Asia, with Japan's Nikkei 225 leading advances after U.S. stocks ended last week with gains. Oil prices rose and U.S. futures were little changed on Monday. South Korea's Kospi logged only moderate gains as investors sold computer chipmakers Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix to lock in profits from recent surges in their share prices. On Friday, the S&P 500 rose 0.6%, topping the all-time high it set on Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.3%, and the Nasdaq composite added 1.3%. A report said U.S. employers unexpectedly cut 23,000 jobs last month. That raised hopes the Federal Reserve might wait longer before raising interest rates to fight inflation.
