A Russian drone strike on a passenger bus in southern Ukraine has killed five people and wounded at least seven others. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the attack an “atrocity” and part of ongoing strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure. The attack happened Wednesday in the Nikopol district near the war's front line. Zelenskyy also reported that a passenger train was struck in the Mykolaiv region and that the passengers were evacuated. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that more than 500 locomotives have been damaged since the all-out war began in 2022. Ukraine is urgently seeking replacements. Zelenskyy also has denied claims of a truce on energy infrastructure attacks.
