If you are a fan of horror movies and the art behind them, a new shop is holding its grand opening on Saturday.
The aptly named Terror will mark their grand opening with a celebration featuring food and drink, music, vendors, and an appearance by intuitive artist Indigo Daffodil.
"It’s a block party for the goth, horror, and spooky community to come out and support small businesses!" said Terror owner Timothy Lane in a statement.
From slashers like "Halloween," "Terrifier," and "Child's Play," to more supernatural films like "The Shining" and "The Exorcist" to sci-fi tinted fare like "Gremlins" and "Mars Attacks," to classics of the 1920s and 30s like "Nosferatu" and the original "Wolf Man," the shop offers something for everyone with a taste for the creepy.
They even have an entire room dedicated to "The Exorcist," complete with a floating bed and possessed girl mannequin, and a blood-spattered Tesla sits out front to greet people as they arrive.
The celebration will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The shop is located in northwest Reno at 670 Alvaro Street and is open from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
