NV Energy says more than 300 customers are currently without power across Washoe County.
The utility reported more than 55 outages after 12:45 p.m., with the largest ones in the 89502 and 89509 zip codes of Reno.
At one point, more than 3,500 customers were without power.
Most of the outages are under investigation.
