We have new information regarding a crash that happened on I-80 Saturday morning resulting in the death of a pedestrian.
According to Nevada State Police, a minor was driving a Ford F-150, with four other minors in the car, in the far-left lane near the Wells Avenue exit.
A pedestrian, 24-year-old Lamont Caldwell Jr., was illegally crossing the highway and was hit by the Ford.
He was injured in the crash and died on scene.
The driver of the Ford, along with the four passengers, remained unharmed and are cooperating with authorities.

Nevada State Police were called to a crash at 2:21 a.m. Saturday morning.
The crash was on eastbound I-80 near the Wells exit.Â
A person was walking in the travel lane and was hit by a truck. He died at the scene.
I-80 was shut down for approximately two hours due to the crash.Â
The driver of the truck is cooperating with the investigation.
