NV Energy is reporting a number of power outages affecting more than 2,000 customers largely concentrated in northwest Reno.
The NV Energy website lists 35 outages from just west of North Virginia Street to the area around West McCarran Boulevard. Collectively those outages were affecting 2,026 people as of 10:10 p.m.
Outlying outages in Sun Valley and near Peavine Creek Road are affecting less than five customers each.
None of the outages have estimated times for restoration on the NV Energy website, and the causes for all of them remain under investigation.
