The Nevada Department of Transportation issued a silver alert for John Ira Thomas that has since been cleared.
Original story Saturday July 22:
John Ira Thomas, 78, of Pahrump, was last seen in the area of Highway 160 and Basin Avenue around 1 p.m. wearing a tan/brown shirt and light gray pants.
He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes, according to a statement from NDOT.
