Sparks Police were called to a report of a shooting near 1000 Greenbrae Drive at 4 a.m. on Saturday, December 28.
Sparks Police arrested 20-year-old Brian Soto of Sparks for unlawfully firing a gun while under the influence of alcohol. SPD also said multiple children were in the area at the time but no one was hurt.
Officers say they took him into custody after he ran from the cops during the initial investigation.
Soto was booked into the Washoe County Detention facility on these charges:
-Child endangerment
-Contributing to the delinquency of a minor
-Minor in possession of alcohol
-Possession of firearm while intoxicated
-Unlawful discharge of a firearm
-Carrying a concealed firearm
-Obstructing with a deadly weapon
-Outstanding warrant
