May 5 UPDATE:
The Storey County Sheriff's Office has released new details about a Fernley man who was found dead after the state activated a Silver Alert for him.
On April 19, 2022, Alan Corridori was located by a hiker in the eastern part of Storey County, in an area commonly referred to as the “Sand Dunes."
According to a press release, The Sheriff's Office says Corridori may have died of a self-inflected gunshot wound, from a firearm he purchased a year earlier.
The investigation is still ongoing along with a final autopsy report.
April 19 UPDATE:
According to the Storey County Sheriff's Office, the Silver Alert for a man missing out of Fernley has been canceled after he was found deceased.
The Lyon County Sheriff's Office says Alan Corridori had been found earlier today but did not emphasize that he had died.
The Lyon County Sherriff's Office said they had no additional information to share at this time

Lyon County deputies have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Fernley man last seen on April 16th.
63-year-old Alan Corridori is approximately 5’10” and weighs 150 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes and wears glasses, however, he does not have them with him.
He was last seen wearing a small black baseball cap, gray or blue flannel shirt and blue jeans.
He was last seen by his family on April 16 at approximately 9:30 pm when he stated he was heading to bed. He does not have his car, phone or wallet.
